Trained as a traditional acupuncturist at the British College of Acupuncture in London, I am registered with both the British Acupuncture Council and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Expanding on my classical knowledge, I have a keen interest in the ongoing and increasing research into acupuncture. Research explains in scientific terms what happens when acupuncture is used and sometimes it shows that traditional dogma is due for review.
In practical terms, acupuncture can form part of physiotherapy/osteopathy or stand totally on its own. Being multi-disciplinary trained, I am well positioned to advise you on what approach is likely to suit you best.

Physiotherapy in my practice is very much a hands-on approach. This stretches from various forms of medical massage to osteopathic manipulations to remedial exercise including yoga and TaChi. I rely little on physio equipment. After a medical interview and knowledgable clinical examination I will propose an action plan and in general, appointments are for 60 minutes. More time spent on a good plan usually brings about a speedier recovery. My practice has a growing patient list of 5203 people most of whom present via word of mouth. Others are referred by GPs and Medical Consultants mainly under the cover of private medical insurance.

Aloeride® is the only aloe vera product in the world made to pharmaceutical GMP (classified as grade D (EU grade) / class 100,000 (US class Federal Standard 209E) / ISO 8). This British product is vastly different to what is generally available and is used successfully by people with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
